What to Expect at the CMR 2024 Conference
< Back To FeedThe annual SCMR conference is an event that we eagerly anticipate each year. The forthcoming edition promises to be especially exciting as it expands beyond the traditional boundaries of the SCMR membership. For the first time, the SCMR, EACVI and ESCR are coming together for a joint hosting of #CMR2024, fostering a new level of collaboration and knowledge exchange within our community. As always, the conference will feature expert presentations, interactive workshops, and extensive networking opportunities. In addition, you can expect some unique events that further highlight the significance of this global CMR event.
If this is your first time attending an SCMR conference, you should be excited. #CMR2024 is poised to be an exceptional gathering, promising an enriching experience for all attendees.
Here’s some of the things we’re especially excited about:
Clinical and scientific sessions
These sessions will cover all the latest topics in CMR research, from scientific advancements in 4D flow to workflow optimization and cost effectiveness.
Shark Tank
For the first time, the SCMR and EACVI are hosting a Shark Tank style pitch competition where teams will be able to submit their CMR related ideas. The top few teams will be able to pitch to an expert panel of physicians and entrepreneurs to win prize money.

Make sure to grab a snack and chat with us in between sessions, we’ll be at booth P6 each day to talk about the presentations, give demos, and hear about how you use CMR in your practice.
